Chelsea are the CHAMPIONS of Europe!

Chelsea won a epic Champions League final against Bayern Munich, in which Didier Drogba was the hero, but nearly was the villain.

Until 80 minutes the game was fairly simple, with Munich overall being the attacking team, and Chelsea the players up against the wall. A few bad misses from Bayern helped keep Chelsea in the Cup.

However, on 83 mins Munich knocked the door down, Müller smashing his powerful header into the floor, and saw it creep over Petr Cech's stretched hand, putting Bayern in the driving seat.

It was looking like it would be Bayern Munich's fifth Champions League.

However, Didier Drogba hit a BULLET header past Manuel Neuer in the Munich goal from Chelsea's first corner on 88 mins!!

It soon went into extra-time.

Drogba nearly turned into the villain, as he tripped Franck Ribery in the area, and the referee gave a penalty. Arjen Robben stepped up, but a poor penalty was saved by Petr Cech.

The rest of extra-time went by, and a penalty shoot-out was needed.

Bayern went ahead, by a couple of penalties, however a miss meant Drogba just had to score to make Chelsea win their first European Cup.

The Ivorian kept a cool head, and slotted it passed Neuer to spark the celebrations.

So, Chelsea are the European champions! Please comment about your views here.

Rugby Union Pro12: Ospreys thrash Munster

The Ospreys dominated against Munster to win 45-10 and go through from their Pro12 semi-final.

Munster started well, going ahead with a converted try in minutes.
However, this was the only good spell for the Irish team, as the half-time score was 23-10 to the Ospreys, and they just added to that in the second period, eventually winning 45-10.

Chelsea hold on to beat Liverpool and clinch FA Cup

Chelsea won the FA Cup against Liverpool 2-1 despite a Andy Carroll-inspired comeback from the Reds.

Ramires scored a 11th minute goal, which Pepe Reina could've done better with, and for the rest of the half Chelsea were the better team.

Didier Drogba made history by scoring another FA Cup final goal, making it 2-0 early in the second half.

Suddenly, Andy Carroll came on and it all changed. The big forward, seemingly trying to make amends for his dismal league form, scored a well-taken goal, and Liverpool started to come back. The former Newcastle man had a shout for another goal, but it seemed Petr Cech did amazingly to keep it out.

Liverpool knocked on Chelsea's door for the rest of the game, but the Blues held on to get another FA Cup win.
