Manchester City lost 1-0 to Borussia Dortmund to not go through to the Europa League.
Only 3rd place in the group stage goes through to the Europa League, and Manchester City's dismal three points from six games means they only finished 4th.
Arsenal lost 2-1 to Olympiakos which means that they do go through, but they will await a tough draw in the knock-out stage.
