Hope Powell has been sacked from her position as manager of the England women's football team.
After a dismal display at Euro 2013, many experts thought she could be fired, and they were right. The 46-year-old has been in charge of the Lionesses since 1998, and helped them get to their highest FIFA ranking ever, sixth.
The next big event in women's football is this 2015 World Cup.
