Spain ease to win in Euro 2012 final

Spain cruised past Italy 4-0 to record a amazing third tournament win in a row.

They ripped the record books open, with records like becoming the only team to win a European Championships twice in a row and they also won by the biggest margin in a European Championship final.

They bossed the game from start to finish. Fernando Torres secured the Golden Boot with a goal this match.

Devastated Italians seemed crushed after Thiago Motta's injury meant they had to play with only ten men, and it just got worse as Torres and Juan Mata added to the first half's goals later.

Jubilant Spaniards danced happily after the final whistle, while the player's children invaded the pitch!

Everyone was beaming as the Spain players received their medals, and as Iker Casillas triumphantly held the trophy aloft, football fans everywhere knew that this team was one of the best ever.
