Cheteswar Pujara hit an unbeaten 206 as India took firm control over England on day two of the first test.
Pujara, on 98 from the close yesterday, led the way, before India declared on 521-8.
Ravichandran Ashwin then took two wickets when England finally started batting, leaving the tourists at 41-3 at the close.
